Aston Carter is seeking a hands-on Controller for a multi-location manufacturing company based in Troy, MI. You will lead general ledger, cost and inventory accounting, and oversee monthly closes, while partnering with ownership to improve processes and business decisions.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in accounting or finance, 7+ years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in leadership, and manufacturing costing exposure.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years accounting experience, incl. 3+ years leadership in accounting.
• Manufacturing accounting experience with strong cost, inventory knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Lead GL, AP/AR, payroll, cost and inventory accounting.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.
• Strengthen GAAP compliance, internal controls, and ERP/reporting workflows.
• Develop accounting staff and liaise with external CPAs, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Visit plants approximately quarterly.
