Job summary
La Tourangelle is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations and serve as a trusted financial partner to our leadership team. This hands-on role requires strong technical accounting expertise, a practical approach, and the ability to manage a team while staying close to operational details.
Based in Woodland, California, the Controller will oversee financial reporting, cash management, manufacturing cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting, collaborating with global teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting, inventory valuation, and COGS.
- Experience with SAP / SAP Business One and standard costing.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day accounting activities including general ledger, payables, receivables, and fixed assets.
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain internal controls and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Oversee inventory valuation, product costing, and manufacturing accounting.
- Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure accurate transactions.
- Drive process improvements and cross-functional accountability.
