Job summary

Xcimer Energy, based in Denver, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Development Engineer to lead automated manufacturing systems from concept through deployment. You will own projects across mechanical, electrical, controls, and systems engineering, contributing to throughput, reliability, and scalable production in a fast-moving development environment.

You will design, integrate, and optimize robotic and automation solutions, develop detailed manufacturing processes, and document handover materials

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering.
5+ years of production line development experience.
Experience delivering robotics or capital equipment projects from concept through commissioning.
Experience integrating machine vision and sensors in automation.

Responsibilities

Develop automated manufacturing equipment with robotics, motion, sensing, and vision.
Support controls integration with PLCs, wiring, and HMI.
Design mechanical components using 3D CAD and GD&T.
Conduct DFMEA/PFMEA to identify risks and mitigations.
Plan and manage multiple projects with milestones.
Optimize manufacturing workflows and ROI.
Create technical documentation and handover materials.
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance with EHS.
Manage supplier/integrator activities including RFQs and site testing.
