Job summary

Kirkhill, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to optimize analytics, automation, and data solutions across Production, Supply Chain, and Quality. You will design dashboards, leverage SQL Server, Power BI, Python, and AI tech to improve factory metrics and decision support.

The role requires expertise in ERP/MRP, manufacturing data, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations. You will lead data projects from design to deployment and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related technical field.
• 6+ years in manufacturing systems, BI, data analytics, or related technical role.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Strong experience with Power BI, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, Excel, and operational reporting.
• Experience developing data-processing, integration, and automation solutions using Python, APIs, Power Platform, or similar technologies.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing data (production planning, BOMs, routings, inventory, scheduling).
• Understanding of manufacturing ops concepts (WIP, capacity, throughput, lead time, on-time delivery).
• Ability to independently analyze complex operational problems and communicate with technical/non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations to understand processes, identify data gaps, and build solutions to improve factory performance.
• Design reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools for production, capacity, WIP, material availability, quality, backlog, and on-time delivery.
• Develop analytics around Infor CSI/Syteline ERP for planning, scheduling, and material transactions.
• Design and maintain SQL Server data models, queries, ETL processes, and data solutions for factory analytics.
• Integrate and automate business processes using SQL, Python, REST APIs, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Excel/VBA.
• Identify and implement AI/advanced analytics such as anomaly detection and predictive analytics.
• Provide technical leadership and own solutions from design through deployment and support.
