Job summary

Kirkhill, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to partner with Production, Supply Chain, and Quality, building analytics, data systems, and automation across the business.

You will design dashboards and data pipelines, optimize ERP data flows, and apply AI-enabled analytics. The role requires cross-functional collaboration and ownership from requirements to deployment, training, and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 6+ years in manufacturing systems, BI, data analytics, or related technical role.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Strong experience with Power BI, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, Excel, and operational reporting.
• Experience developing data-processing, integration, and automation using Python, APIs, Power Platform, or similar technologies.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing data (production planning, BOMs, routings, inventory).
• Understanding of manufacturing operations: WIP, capacity, throughput, lead time, on-time delivery.
• Ability to independently analyze complex operational problems and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations and other stakeholders to understand manufacturing processes and identify data gaps; develop solutions for better factory performance.
• Design reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools to provide visibility into production, capacity, WIP, material availability, quality, backlog, and on-time delivery.
• Develop analytical and automation solutions around Infor CSI/Syteline ERP for production planning, APS/MRP, scheduling, jobs, BOMs, routings, inventory, and material transactions.
• Design and maintain SQL Server data models, queries, ETL processes, and data solutions supporting factory analytics and operational apps.
• Identify and implement AI/advanced analytics in manufacturing and business operations; evaluate value, security, and data quality.
• Own solutions from requirements and technical design through development, testing, deployment, documentation, training, and support.
• Contribute to long-term factory information systems strategy and provide technical leadership and best practices.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline
