Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a large manufacturing organization in the Salem, NH area to add a Senior Staff Accountant to their team.

The role involves general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, account analysis, process improvements, and support for quarterly reviews and annual audits. A strong manufacturing/distribution background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience in a complex environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Strong Excel, analytical and research skills.
• Prefer experience with manufacturing or distribution industries.

Responsibilities

• General ledger accounting supporting the corporate office and subsidiaries.
• Month end and quarter end close, complex reconciliations and accruals.
• Account analysis and review.
• Assist with documentation of procedures.
• Participate in process improvements.
• Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Support FP&A with quarterly reporting requirements.
• Manage expense reporting and support operations.
