Job summary

Seeking Alpha, a leading investor-focused platform, is hiring a Senior Manual QA Engineer for a 100% remote contract role. You will execute manual testing across web and mobile apps, create test artifacts, and collaborate with product owners, developers, and support to ensure a high-quality user experience.

You will maintain test documentation, estimate testing effort, and report QA risks and results to stakeholders. Strong English and SDLC/Agile experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software QA.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications (end-to-end, UI).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Understanding of SDLC in Agile/Scrum.
• Solid knowledge of test design techniques.
• Understanding web technologies: HTML, CSS, client-server, API, JavaScript.
• Good SQL knowledge for testing purposes is a plus.
• Upper-intermediate English.
• Experience analyzing automated test results with AQA.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in QA workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and support to ensure quality.
• Create and maintain test documentation (checklists, test cases).
• Estimate execution time of testing activities.
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile apps: functional, cross-platform, UI, regression.
• Document defects in Jira and track resolutions.
• Analyze business requirements with product owners.
• Identify QA risks that could affect delivery and report them.
• Provide test execution updates to stakeholders.
• Support RCA and triage for production issues and automated tests.
