Job summary

Seeking Alpha, a leading investor-focused platform, is hiring a Senior Manual QA Engineer for a 100% remote contract role. You will execute manual testing across web and mobile apps, create test artifacts, and collaborate with product owners, developers, and support to ensure a high-quality user experience.

You will maintain test documentation, estimate testing effort, and report QA risks and results to stakeholders. Strong English and SDLC/Agile experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software QA.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications (end-to-end, UI).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Understanding of SDLC in Agile/Scrum.
• Solid knowledge of test design techniques.
• Understanding web technologies: HTML, CSS, client-server, API, JavaScript.
• Good SQL knowledge for testing purposes is a plus.
• Upper-intermediate English.
• Experience analyzing automated test results with AQA.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in QA workflows is a plus.

We are looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual testing of a web and mobile application and creating and maintaining test documentation. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and customer support representatives to ensure product quality, reliability, and a seamless user experience.

This role is 100% remote, offering flexibility to work from home.

The Senior Manual QA Engineer will be engaged with the company as a contractor (Private Entrepreneur).

What You'll Do

• Work in close cooperation with product owners, developers, customer support representatives, and AQA engineers
• Create and maintain test documentation (checklists, test cases)
• Estimate the execution time of testing activities
• Execute manual testing of web and mobile application: functional, cross-platform, UI (responsive design) and regression
• Document and maintain defect reports in Jira
• Analyze and evaluate business requirements with product owners
• Communicate on any risks from a QA perspective that could affect feature delivery
• Report to stakeholders on the test execution results
• Provide support in issue investigation, including production Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and automated test run triaging.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software QA
• Experience in web and mobile applications testing (end-to-end, UI)
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Understanding of SDLC in Agile/Scrum
• Solid knowledge of test design techniques
• Understanding web technologies: HTML, CSS, client-server architecture, API, JavaScript
• Good knowledge of SQL for testing purposes is a plus
• Upper-intermediate level of English
• Experience analyzing automated test run results alongside AQA
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools/assistants in daily QA workflows is a plus
