Qualifications

• 7+ years in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on manual testing.
• Hands-on with functional, regression, integration, system and end-to-end testing.
• Translate business requirements into test scenarios and test cases.
• Experience with test planning, execution, defect lifecycle management.
• Ability to perform exploratory testing and identify edge cases.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on with test/defect management tools like JIRA.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to develop manual test scenarios and data.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing for releases.
• Validate application functionality against requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects with development and business teams.
• Perform risk-based and exploratory testing to reveal gaps beyond documented tests.
• Understand customer journeys and ensure QA coverage for insured and agent experiences.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Participate in requirement reviews, test planning, defect triage, and release readiness.
• Communicate testing status, defects, risks, dependencies, and readiness clearly.
• Data validation and backend testing including SQL where applicable.
• Maintain test cases and regression suites as the app evolves.
• Contribute to automation initiatives where appropriate; focus remains hands-on manual testing.
