Qualifications

• Requires a BA degree and 8-12 years of prior experience or a Master’s with 6-10 years of experience.
• Minimum proficiency skill level 2 for Reading in Mandarin-Chinese required.
• Demonstrated experience with GIS software including ArcGIS Pro and QGIS.

Responsibilities

• Scan and geo-reference hardcopy maps for research and geospatial data.
• Conflate georeferenced maps with the Geographic Names Database.
• Interpret national and international policies governing geographic treatment.
