Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Managing Director in Washington, DC to lead complex litigation, arbitration, and investigations, delivering holistic risk advisory and disputes solutions for clients.

You will manage multi-team activities, oversee budgets, and drive cross-functional collaboration with practice leaders while mentoring and developing talent within the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience.
• Travel required to clients and to FTI office(s).

Responsibilities

• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of others at Team Lead level.
• Manages activities of two or more teams or departments.
• Interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, division and/or customers.
• Responsible for managing organizational and/or contractual project budgets.
• Manages projects in a complex environment, retains key clients, identifies/delivers innovative solutions for the client.
• Develops specific marketing plans and activities.
• Leads major proposals.
• Develops relationships and identifies opportunities that lead to significant sales or referrals.
• Acts as role model for mentoring, coaching, and learning.
• Facilitates development in client or project setting, as well as through formal learning experiences.
• Actively contributes to successful recruitment of candidates and retention of existing team members.
• Works with various practice leaders to facilitate cross-functional teams to address complex client needs or opportunities.
• Works to ensure a quality product, as well as delivery of all work within established timeframes.
• Maintain professional image within the firm and project same to those outside the firm.

About the Role

We are involved in complex, global and high-profile litigation, arbitration and investigations combining end-to-end risk advisory, investigative and disputes expertise to deliver holistic solutions for our clients.

What You’ll Do

• Actively facilitates development in client or project setting, as well as through formal learning experiences

Compensation

Minimum Pay: $300,000.00
Maximum Pay: $900,000.00
