Purpose

The Senior Manager, WW Professional Education – OTTAVA, will oversee the architecture, validation, and metrics of the customer learning experience for OTTAVA, J&J’s surgical robotic system. Responsibilities include ensuring seamless curriculum integration, monitoring training effectiveness, and supporting OTTAVA clinical trial sites. The role involves partnering with R&D, Regulatory, Scientific Affairs, Marketing, and external partners to meet learning objectives for clinical customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Managers in developing customer training protocols and support assets.
• Lead customer training events supporting platform development milestones.
• Support surgical teams at OTTAVA clinical trial sites.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver validated learning experiences.
• Coordinate with commercial education to align training strategies.
• Gather customer insights and implement continuous improvement processes.
• Develop and report metrics on education program efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop global faculty and lead curriculum development groups.
• Foster collaboration with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 8 years in healthcare commercial roles with success demonstrated.
• Minimum 3 years experience with surgical platforms and procedures.
• Project management skills.
• High technological and business aptitude.
• Strong influence and communication skills.
• Experience managing internal and external networks.
• Previous people management experience.

Preferred:

• Experience leading learning and development programs.
• Background in marketing and medical device education.
• Post-graduate degree such as an MBA.
