Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited in Houston is seeking a senior Valuations professional to oversee the independent valuation process for energy products, with responsibilities including price verification, benchmark reviews and fair value adjustments to support informed trading decisions. You will work closely with trading, risk, finance and model review teams to strengthen valuation practices.

The role offers hybrid work, with four days per week in the Houston office.

Qualifications

Fifteen+ years of valuation experience, ideally in energy sector.
Strong understanding of valuation techniques and energy-related derivatives.
Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication for cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee and execute the independent valuation process for energy products, including price verification, benchmark reviews and fair value adjustments.
Develop valuation methodologies and control frameworks, assess valuation risks, and provide reporting and analysis for decision making.
Collaborate with trading, risk, finance, research and model review teams to strengthen valuation processes.
Support hybrid working arrangements with four days in the Houston office.
