Legend Biotech USA Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, US Payroll to lead the end-to-end multi-state payroll function with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role partners with HR, Finance, Tax, Benefits and external vendors to govern payroll operations across the US.

The role requires 8–10+ years of payroll leadership, strong SOX controls familiarity, and expertise in Workday Payroll. Base pay includes a substantial package and annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 8–10+ years of progressive payroll experience, multi-state US operations.
• Experience in SOX-compliant environment preferred.
• CPP certification preferred; Workday payroll/HRIS experience highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end multi-state US payroll processing (bi-weekly).
• Manage off-cycle payments, bonuses, equity, garnishments, and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws; SOX controls.
