Job summary

U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) invites applications for a Sr. Manager, Technical Services Support (India).

Lead the India-based Technical Services team, shaping high-quality customer support, operational excellence, and scalable service delivery in a matrixed global environment. The role reports to Senior Director, Customer Success & Operations and Director, Scientific Affairs, with a primary 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM IST shift.

Qualifications

Master's degree in chemistry or relevant scientific field.
Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in the pharmaceutical field, including hands-on experience in chromatography, spectroscopy, and analytical testing methods.
Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
Strong customer-centric mindset with focus on delivering high-quality service in a regulated environment.
Experience translating scientific/technical expertise into effective customer support and service outcomes.
Willingness to work 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM IST shift.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and administrative oversight to the India-based Technical Services team.
Ensure high-quality, efficient, scalable service delivery in India.
Monitor performance against SLAs and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with global stakeholders to align service delivery.
