Job summary

Avidity Biosciences seeks a Senior Manager, Technical Product Management to drive TD&O deliverables across RNA therapeutic manufacturing and product development teams. You will coordinate cross-functional workstreams, manage schedules, and oversee risk, budget, and process improvements for manufacturing programs.

Hybrid/remote in San Diego, CA with occasional travel. Requirements: 5+ years of cGMP biopharma project management, strong CMC knowledge, and proficiency with Smartsheet/SharePoint; PMP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• 5+ years of cGMP manufacturing/project management experience in biopharma.
• Strong knowledge of CMC functions and regulatory expectations.
• Proficiency with project management tools (Smartsheet, SharePoint).
• PMP or similar certification preferred.

Job description

Role: Senior Manager, Technical Product Management at Avidity Biosciences, supporting execution of TD&O deliverables within manufacturing and product development teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing integrated project schedules, risk management, budget oversight, and process improvements for RNA therapeutic manufacturing programs.

Requirements: Bachelor's in Life Sciences or related field, 5+ years of cGMP manufacturing/project management experience in biopharma, strong knowledge of CMC functions, proficient in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SharePoint), PMP or similar certification preferred.

High-Value: support of manufacturing for RNA therapeutics, including oligonucleotides and biologics, with experience in rare diseases and biologics.

Collaboration with internal and external teams, including regulatory and quality functions, with travel approximately twice annually.
