Job summary

Activision Blizzard Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting to support the controllership and worldwide Finance teams.

The role focuses on ensuring adherence to US GAAP, with emphasis on revenue recognition and new standards for evolving business models. You will collaborate with business units across the company to understand gaming transactions, drive technical accounting research, and communicate accounting treatments to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting required.
• 8–10 years of progressive technical accounting experience (public or industry).
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis capability.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition, SEC reporting and SOX.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting research and documentation for complex transactions, including revenue recognition.
• Partner with FP&A, Legal, and Business Units to evaluate products, contracts and initiatives for accounting implications.
• Assess impact of new accounting pronouncements and support adoption.
• Provide training to accounting, finance, and business teams.
