Job summary

Diversified Energy is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting to support the Director of Financial Reporting. This role develops accounting research memos, assists with external financial statements, and coordinates with Treasury, Legal, and external advisors on debt-related reporting.

The candidate will oversee complex accounting matters, monitor new standards, and lead implementation efforts for public company filings and capital market transactions across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years combined public accounting and corporate technical accounting experience.
• 7+ years of SEC/public company reporting experience (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and Proxy Statements).
• Experience with Workiva and XBRL is a plus.
• Bachelor's in Accounting; Master’s preferred; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research complex accounting, disclosure, and reporting matters.
• Draft technical accounting memoranda and position papers supporting conclusions.
• Serve as a technical accounting resource across the accounting and finance organization.
• Monitor emerging accounting standards and lead implementation efforts as needed.
• Advise and support in preparation, review and analysis of external financial statements and filings (prospectuses, registrations).
• Prepare financial statements for ad hoc requests related to contemplated transactions and financing arrangements.
• Support statutory reporting requirements across multiple legal entities.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Legal, and external advisors on debt reporting matters.
• Assist in planning, testing, and implementing system changes and ad hoc projects.
• Support FP&A team as they prepare monthly management reporting packages.
