Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead ACCO's enterprise-wide recruiting efforts. This leadership role will oversee a team of 6-10 recruiters and recruiting coordinators located throughout California, driving full-cycle talent acquisition strategies to support our growth in the construction sector.


Construction industry recruiting experience is required. Experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) is highly preferred. Familiarity with recruiting in the HVAC industry is a strong plus.


Based in Pasadena, CA, this is an on-site position requiring frequent travel to regional offices and job sites across the state to support hiring needs and maintain close collaboration with operations and field leaders.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed recruiting team to support the company's regional and corporate hiring needs

  • Design and implement scalable, metrics-driven recruiting strategies tailored to the construction industry, with a focus on skilled trades, project management, and technical roles

  • Partner with operational and HR leadership to forecast workforce needs and align recruiting plans with business goals

  • Manage and optimize the use of Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) to streamline recruiting processes, reporting, and collaboration

  • Monitor and report on KPIs including time-to-fill, pipeline health, offer acceptance, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction

  • Personally support executive-level and hard-to-fill searches as needed

  • Drive employer branding efforts and ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, union-related hiring practices (as applicable), and company hiring policies across all regions

  • Foster a culture of accountability, service, and continuous improvement within the recruiting team

  • Conduct regular talent strategy reviews with regional operations leaders to evaluate recruiting effectiveness and adjust priorities as needed.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute social media strategies that highlight ACCO's employee-owned culture and career growth opportunities.

  • Build and maintain partnerships with trade schools, technical programs, and industry associations to support long-term pipeline development for skilled trades and early-career roles.

  • Manage external recruiting vendor relationships, including ensuring all third-party agency engagements comply with company contract standards and approved fee structures. Responsible for reviewing and overseeing contracts with recruiting-related platforms such as LinkedIn, Circa, and other sourcing or compliance tools.


Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):



  • Minimum 6 years of experience managing recruiting teams, ideally across multi-location operations

  • Construction industry recruiting experience is required

  • Experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) or similar enterprise-level applicant tracking systems is highly preferred

  • HVAC industry recruiting experience is a strong plus

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and retain high-performing recruiting teams

  • Strategic planning, workforce forecasting, and data-driven decision-making capabilities

  • Strong relationship-building skills with both field and corporate stakeholders

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across California

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required

Competitive Wages:
$133,000 to $171,500 annually. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
