Job summary
Kyowa Kirin North America is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain to lead startup readiness for the Sanford, NC facility and to oversee strategic and operational leadership across warehouse operations, materials management, internal logistics, and production material flow.
The role emphasizes ERP/digital planning tool adoption, GMP compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, MSAT, and Quality to resolve bottlenecks and meet business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (Supply Chain/Industrial Engineering).
- 5+ years of direct Supply Chain Management/Operations experience in Life Sciences or regulated manufacturing.
- Experience startup/operation of a biopharma facility is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead GMP-compliant warehouse and materials management at Sanford site.
- Oversee all warehouse operations: receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, movements.
- Develop SOPs, work instructions and training for warehouse and planning teams.
- Lead ERP updates and optimizations across digital systems and planning tools.
- Drive S&OP governance and production scheduling to meet revenue and service goals.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
