Emerson is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Systems & Analytics to lead the advancement of digital supply chain capabilities through data-driven insights, analytics, and system optimization. You will own reporting and data solutions, partner across units, and mentor a team of analytics professionals to drive actionable decisions globally.

You will design analytics strategies, ensure data quality, and promote standardized tools and processes while traveling domestically and internationally

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant analytical discipline.
• 10+ years leading supply chain analytics or digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision making.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, visualization and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring and developing teams and stakeholders.
• Travel: domestically and internationally up to ~15%+.

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Systems & Analytics leads the advancement and transformation of Emerson’s Digital Supply Chain capabilities by driving data-driven insights, system optimization, and analytics excellence. Reporting to the Director of Digital Supply Chain, this role is responsible for ensuring that analytics, reporting, and business intelligence solutions provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and operational performance across Emerson’s global supply chain.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Key Objectives:

• Lead enhancements to Digital Supply Chain initiatives
• Ensure analytics and insights are practical, actionable, and aligned to business priorities.
• Align analytics, processes, systems, and reporting capabilities with current business needs.
• Train and support users on standardized tools and processes.
• Use data to guide decision-making across the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Data & Analytics: Design and execute analytics strategies that support key initiatives, indirect category management, and supplier taxonomy development.

Strategic Leadership: Lead the advancement of Emerson's Digital Supply Chain capabilities through analytics, reporting, and systems optimization.

Domain Leadership: Serve as the enterprise leader for supply chain analytics, leveraging AI, predictive modeling, automation, and data governance best practices.

Solution Ownership: Own Supply Chain Management reporting and data solutions, ensuring data quality, usability, and alignment across systems and processes.

Team Management: Lead and develop a team of analytics professionals while driving continuous improvement and solution adoption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across Supply Chain, IT, Logistics, Commodity Management, and Business Units to improve reporting, governance, and business processes.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance enterprise performance through digital innovation, automation, and advanced analytics.

Training: Redesign training programs to promote effective use of standardized tools and processes across the Emerson Supply Chain community.

Data Storytelling: Communicate actionable insights to leaders and stakeholders through clear storytelling, reporting, and presentations.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in applied Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related analytical discipline.
• 10+ years Experience leading supply chain, analytics, data solutions, or digital transformation initiatives in a complex business environment.
• Demonstrated success delivering results through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, visualization, and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring, influencing, and developing teams and stakeholders.
• Strong data analysis, visualization, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 15% or more

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• MBA preferred.
• Expertise with Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud, or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Experience with UX principles for data-centric solutions.
• Experience in machine learning, predictive analytics, or advanced modeling.
• Proficiency with Python, R, JavaScript, Azure, Snowflake, AWS, or similar technologies.
