Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a strong people leader to build and manage the supply chain and procurement team responsible for a custom silicon portfolio. This role focuses on delivering the right supply at the right time, through data-driven decisions and executive-level communication.

You will hire, develop, and lead a team of supply and commodity managers, define complex supply chain strategies, and own supplier negotiations and relationships with silicon partners.

• Proven leadership experience building and developing teams.
• Strong background in supply chain and procurement strategy.
• Ability to translate data into actionable sourcing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and lead a team of supply and commodity managers for the custom silicon portfolio.
• Define and deliver complex supply chain strategies as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure team.
• Own supplier strategy and commercial negotiation, including long-term agreements.
• Direct engagement with hardware teams and silicon partners to translate requirements into sourcing direction.
• Guide written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to shape sourcing design.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritizing amid ambiguity and changing conditions.
• Develop scalable analytics tools, dashboards, and metrics to drive decisions.
• Build a high-performing, resilient team with bench strength and succession plans.
