Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks a Senior Manager, Supplier Quality in Houston to lead a QA/QC team and drive supplier qualification, risk management, and zero-defect initiatives. You will ensure external suppliers meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards through rigorous assessment and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Projects, Site Operations, Regulatory Affairs and Quality to qualify, onboard, and improve supplier performance, aligning with API Q2, ISO 9001

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or Quality Management.
• Minimum 10 years in Supplier Quality with at least 5 in leadership.
• Experience leading RCA methods (8D, A3) with effective corrective actions.
• Cross-functional collaboration and strategic deployment experience.
• Oil and Gas / LNG experience preferred.
• Ability to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings (P&IDs, Civil/Structural, Electrical).
• Knowledge of API Q2, ISO 9001, ASME/API codes and related standards.
• Experience with supplier audits, assessments, and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the supplier quality strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Build and lead a team of QA/QC professionals.
• Design and manage supplier qualification, risk assessments, and Approved Supplier List.
• Perform supplier capability assessments and audits as needed.
• Develop and maintain QA standards and procedures for regulatory and product quality compliance.
• Act as primary interface for supplier quality with supply chain and stakeholders.
• Ensure supplier quality support for site issues with supply chain.
• Oversee SCAR process for non-conforming materials and root cause analysis.
• Establish a Supplier Zero Defect Program and KPI tracking including COPQ.
• Provide technical guidance and training to suppliers to raise quality levels.
• Deliver Venture Global culture of quality and escalate performance updates to leadership.
