Job summary

Textron Systems, a Textron unit, seeks a Senior Manager, Supplier Management to lead Sourcing Engineering and Supplier Development, driving strategy, onboarding, and performance improvements for a high-performing, cost-effective supplier base.

The role oversees supplier selection, readiness, and execution while standardizing processes, enabling manufacturability, DFX, prototyping, and new product development in a cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering (preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, engineering, or operations in manufacturing/aerospace.
• 2+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
• Proven leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Manager of Sourcing Engineering and Manager of Supplier Development.
• Support recruitment of a high-performing supplier management team.
• Balance workload across Domains to maximize high-impact, high-value solutions.
• Champion Supply Chain 2.0 initiatives across supplier lifecycle stages.
• Engage with internal customers to develop opportunities and roadmaps for Partnerships and Suppliers.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Strategic Sourcing and Quality.
