About The Job

We are looking for a seasoned Strategy & Planning professional to help us lead the Customer Success Strategy & Planning function worldwide. You will be responsible for learning the ins and outs of each major MongoDB Sales and Customer Success Business, building relationships with senior leadership, developing the team, and driving forward initiatives that unlock sales revenue. The ideal candidate understands what makes a team thrive, has a strong interest in data analysis to tell stories, and thrives in shaping narratives that help our Sales team grow.

Responsibilities
  • Help drive the analytical rhythm of our business, including quarterly business reviews and org deep dives
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive customer, market, and segment-specific analyses that uncover insight
  • Become an expert in business and CS rules
  • Conceptualize and pilot new programs to test the effectiveness of various roles, compensation plans, and engagement mechanisms
  • Lead the quarterly and annual business planning for the CS teams
  • Collaborate with various business units to drive productivity and headcount scenario analyses
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a quantitative focus (Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.)
  • 5+ years of work experience in Sales Strategy, Consulting, Sales Operations, or Analytics
  • Experience supervising direct reports
  • Effective communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into clear business language
  • Strong SQL knowledge with an ability to write queries to extract data for analysis (preferred but not required)
  • Spreadsheet wizardry with the ability to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience with at least one major business intelligence tool (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker)
  • Comfortable navigating Salesforce.com

The base salary range for this role in the U.S. is $123,000—$176,000 USD. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and is based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location.
