Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Manager for Strategic Management & Excellence in Medical Affairs to execute global strategic initiatives and coordinate the project portfolio within a rare disease biopharma context.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field.
  • 7+ years in pharma/biotech supporting Medical Affairs or similar functions.
  • experience managing complex projects and departmental budgets.
  • PMP or similar certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional planning and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate project portfolio across Medical Affairs.

Job description

Role:

Senior Manager, Strategic Management & Excellence in Medical Affairs, focusing on executing global strategic initiatives, project portfolio coordination, and budget management within a rare disease biopharma context. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional planning and execution of high-impact programs, managing the Medical Affairs budget (including forecasting, accruals, and vendor payments), and supporting operational improvements and process standardization. The role also involves knowledge management via SharePoint, developing dashboards, KPIs, and reports for project visibility, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in life sciences or related field
  • 7+ years in pharma/biotech supporting Medical Affairs or similar functions
  • experience managing complex projects and departmental budgets
  • PMP or similar certification a plus
Preferred:
  • experience in nephrology, rare diseases, or specialty therapeutics
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management tools

Work setup:
