Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the electrical engineering organization across the full product lifecycle for space electronics, laser communications, sensors, and related aerospace/defense systems.

The role drives strategy, staffing, and technical excellence, mentoring managers and professionals, and ensuring adherence to space qualification standards and IPC requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical/related field.
• 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience in aerospace/space systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 20+ electrical engineering professionals and subordinate managers.
• Coordinate staffing, workload planning, performance management, and development.
• Oversee electrical design standards and practices for space electronics.
