Job summary

SPS Commerce is seeking a Senior Manager, Risk & Controls to own and elevate our SOX compliance program. You will be the subject matter authority on SEC, PCAOB, and COSO frameworks, guiding maturations and coordinating with executives and auditors.

The role leads a Risk & Controls team, drives program enhancements, and partners with business leaders to strengthen risk management and compliance across the organization. Hybrid work from Minneapolis, MN headquarters is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 8+ years of SOX/compliance experience.
• Proven SOX regulatory expertise with knowledge of SEC, PCAOB and COSO frameworks.
• Experience leading SOX functions in a public company environment.
• Strong understanding of IT control domains and ITGCs to oversee IT SOX workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with leadership; ability to influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the leadership and continuous improvement of the SOX program, driving maturation.
• Serve as SOX regulatory expert and translate regulatory developments into updates.
• Review and approve key program deliverables for quality and alignment.
• Provide senior-level oversight of engagement with external auditors.
• Lead SOX program activities and special projects, including M&A integration.
• Support risk and controls for special projects and system implementations.
• Oversee training for business partners on SOX and internal controls.
• Lead and develop the Risk & Controls team and foster stakeholder partnerships.
• Build trusted advisory relationships to support SOX objectives and risk priorities.
