Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a seasoned Director, Global SOX Compliance to lead second line risk and control activities within the Controllership organization. This role will design, implement, and monitor SOX controls while liaising with internal audit and external auditors on SOX compliance.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on SOX approach and drive process improvements across the organization, strengthening the control environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance or related field; CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant Internal Audit or SOX experience.
• Experience with private and public accounting; Big 4 experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, US GAAP, COSO, PCAOB, risk and controls standards.
• Excellent communication and ability to engage with senior management and external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Design and monitor the global SOX risk and control framework.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and control narratives.
• Conduct risk assessments and remediation planning with management.
• Provide guidance on system changes and IT controls.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors on SOX.
• Prepare materials for leadership and Audit Committee.
