Apg Cash Drawer in Minneapolis seeks a Senior Manager of Software and Electronics Engineering to lead software, electronics, cloud platforms, and hardware‑software integration. You will shape architecture, guide product roadmap, and drive excellence across multi‑discipline teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of engineering leadership experience with increasing responsibility in software, electronics, or connected‑product development.
• Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams spanning hardware, connected devices, embedded software, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with IoT, Android, Windows, Linux, connected devices, APIs, SDKs, TCPIP, HTTP, TLS, HTTPS, USB HID and digital ecosystems, preferred.
• Prior experience in point‑of‑sale (POS) systems & technology, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical direction for software, electronics, embedded systems, cloud platforms, APIs, SDKs, connectivity, and connected‑product technologies.
• Partner with Product Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Service teams to bring integrated solutions to market.
• Lead current product support while defining the roadmap for future technology platforms.
• Build and mentor engineering talent while strengthening APG’s software and electronics capabilities.
• Drive innovation, architecture, quality, scalability, security, and long‑term product success.
