Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager - Software Development Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead a technical team responsible for delivering and supporting complex enterprise applications that underpin billing and finance operations. The ideal candidate will drive modernization efforts, guide cross-functional collaboration, and help ensure stable, scalable solutions that support business continuity and long-term platform improvement. The position also plays a key role in shaping application roadmaps, aligning technical design with enterprise standards, and balancing transformation initiatives with production support in a large healthcare environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $106,605 – $260,590 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team focused on billing and finance applications, setting clear priorities and accountability.
• Oversee delivery and production support for billing and finance capabilities, ensuring operational controls are in place.
• Guide the migration of billing and finance processes from an older ERP environment to S/4HANA, managing all phases from discovery to legacy retirement.
• Collaborate with various departments to deliver integrated solutions that meet business needs.
• Shape application roadmaps and balance transformation work with production support and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure technical designs align with SAP standards, promoting simplification and long-term maintainability.
• Manage the software development life cycle, ensuring quality and timely delivery of solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP application delivery and leadership of complex initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead technical and functional teams with a focus on performance management and development.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Billing, Sales and Distribution, and Finance processes, particularly SD and FI/CO integration.
• Experience managing full project lifecycles from requirements to production stabilization.
• Strong grasp of software engineering practices, system integration, and production support.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a knack for stakeholder management. li>
