This position is part of the RTX Corporate Enterprise Services Software team. The role integrates all aspects of software functions into Enterprise Services strategy and transformation initiatives. It involves building supplier capabilities, negotiating contracts, managing vendors, and driving cost savings while ensuring technical, financial, and regulatory goals are met.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead strategy and negotiations for software and SaaS contracts, ensuring favorable terms and performance against objectives.
  • Negotiate large, complex agreements with leading vendors such as Microsoft, Atlassian, ServiceNow, Salesforce, AWS, and Oracle.
  • Apply experience with diverse software licensing methodologies and perform complex pricing analysis.
  • Gather requirements and identify solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Review, draft, and revise software licenses and master agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including legal, finance, cyber, and partnership peers to align terms with company objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure adherence to agreed terms and explore further opportunities.
  • Ensure all contracts meet security, data protection, export control, and regulatory requirements by partnering with cybersecurity, privacy, and legal.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed of industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications
  • STEM degree with minimum ten years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with seven years, or fourteen years of experience without a degree, in consulting, sourcing, or procurement management with at least five years in a software environment.
  • In-depth understanding of software licensing models and the ability to translate technical requirements into contract performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and present financial information, budgets, and program performance; develop strategies and business cases to improve performance.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills, including design and delivery of leadership‑ready materials such as PowerPoint and dashboards.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills; ability to work with internal service owners and external suppliers.
  • Experience negotiating multi‑year enterprise agreements, usage‑based pricing, SLAs, geographical requirements, and renewal terms.
  • Experience sourcing events such as RFIs, RFPs, and direct negotiations for software and subscription agreements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with an MBA preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to convert requirements into executable strategies and integrated master schedules.
  • Effective communication with all levels of management and individual contributors on program teams.
  • Ability to develop leadership‑ready presentations and documents for reviews.
