Role Overview:

As the Sr. Marketing Manager, SEO & CRO, you will develop and execute strategies to enhance organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and optimize the e-commerce journey for FIFA World Cup 26 Official Hospitality customers. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and e-commerce performance analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an SEO strategy to increase the visibility of FIFA World Cup 26 Official Hospitality offerings across search engines.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact terms related to event-based searches, hospitality experiences, and the FIFA World Cup 26.
  • Optimize meta tags, headers, structured data, and internal linking to improve search rankings and click-through rates.
  • Perform technical SEO audits, addressing site speed, mobile usability, crawlability, and indexability.
  • Enhance content discoverability, ensuring landing pages and blog content align with FIFA World Cup 26 brand messaging and search trends.
  • Improve backlink profile through digital PR, partnerships, and content outreach initiatives.
  • Analyze user behavior and conversion funnels to identify drop-off points and opportunities for optimization.
  • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to refine landing pages, CTA placements, pricing display, and checkout processes.
  • Use heatmaps, session recordings, and customer journey analysis to improve e-commerce UX/UI.
  • Manage and publish SEO-optimized content via CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, WordPress), ensuring proper tagging, URL structure, and localization standards are followed.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Commercial Strategy to ensure a cohesive approach to SEO, CRO, and e-commerce performance.
  • Track and report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, domain authority, conversion rates, and e-commerce revenue using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO/CRO tools.
  • Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on FIFA World Cup 26 search trends, hospitality industry insights, and the evolving SERP landscape, including advancements like AI Overviews and algorithm updates.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, CRO, and e-commerce optimization, preferably in the sports, travel, or hospitality sector.
  • Proven track record of increasing organic traffic and improving e-commerce conversion rates.
  • Strong understanding of Google’s algorithm updates, SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush), and CRO tools (Optimizely, Hotjar).
  • Experience managing and publishing content via CMS platforms, especially headless CMS solutions like Contentful; familiarity with CMS taxonomy, localization, and structured data implementation is a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise-level e-commerce platforms, preferably Shopify, Magento, or a custom CMS.
  • Knowledge of international SEO strategies and multi-language website optimization.
  • Ability to work with GA4 and data visualization tools to analyze user behavior.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Passion for sports, major global events, and digital marketing trends.
