Job summary

WalkerHughes Insurance, headquartered in Carmel, Indiana, seeks a Select Business Service Manager to lead 12–18 Select Business Account Managers and 2–3 Team Leads. You will ensure timely, accurate, and proactive service for the small commercial book and collaborate with Advisors and the Director of Service, CBU to drive retention and growth.

You will oversee renewals, quality, and escalations, coach staff, and develop team capabilities while maintaining high client satisfaction and compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 12 to 18 Select Business Account Managers who service small commercial business.
• Develop the 2 to 3 Team Leads to guide day-to-day workflow and uphold service standards.
• Set clear performance expectations, conduct reviews, provide feedback, and address concerns promptly.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new account managers, supporting ongoing training and career development.
• Balance workload and capacity to meet service levels and advisor needs.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture centered on client service.
