Job summary

WalkerHughes Insurance in Carmel, Indiana is seeking a Select Business Service Manager to lead 12–18 Select Business Account Managers, including 2–3 Team Leads, delivering exceptional client service and driving retention and growth.

You will oversee service delivery for the Select Business commercial book, manage renewals, approvals, escalations, and ensure timely, accurate service throughout the insurance lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial insurance, account management or service.
• Experience leading and developing a team; supervisory background preferred.
• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow 12–18 Select Business Account Managers and 2–3 Team Leads.
• Oversee service delivery for the Select Business commercial book and handle escalations.
• Ensure timely responses to policy changes, endorsements, payments, and claims.
• Oversee renewals, accuracy of documentation, and quality reviews.
• Partner with Select Business Advisors to support new business opportunities and growth.
• Monitor performance and drive process improvements across the team.
