Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Senior Manager for Security Posture Management to lead governance-driven rollouts of security capabilities across our software estate. You will align projects with our security standards, establishing secure defaults that accelerate engineering without compromising governance.

You’ll own the direction, delivery, and growth of the team, setting priorities and building a high-performing security organization that supports scalable, secure software development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security programs for large software organizations.
• Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across Product and Engineering.
• Strong strategic thinking and people leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead governed rollouts of GitLab's security capabilities across the estate, aligning with our Project Security Configuration Standard.
• Set secure defaults and pathways to accelerate engineering while maintaining governance.
• Act as Customer Zero for GitLab security features, feeding learnings to Product and Engineering as a leading indicator.
