Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a senior security leader to own and evolve our security program. You will guide a team beyond traditional gatekeeping, drive measurable improvements, and focus on risk-based decisions. Automation and AI will serve as the first responder in our security posture.

Responsibilities include managing priorities, streamlining security workflows, and communicating security status to engineering and executive leadership on a regular cadence.

• Own how Security operates, building a risk-based program where engineering teams own their security health.
• Partner with the Director of Security and cover operational duties during audits, board cycles, or vacations.
