Job summary

Headfarmer is seeking a Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting to lead external financial reporting under US GAAP and SEC rules. You will own the SEC reporting process end-to-end, coordinating with FP&A, tax and audit, and reporting to the Director.

The role requires 6–8+ years of accounting with SEC exposure, hands-on ASC 606 knowledge, and a CPA. You will supervise one direct report and interact with senior leadership, including CFO and CEO, with visibility across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of accounting experience with SEC reporting; Big Four public accounting experience preferred.
• Full-cycle exposure to the SEC financial reporting process (10-K/10-Q/8-K; not just sections).
• Hands-on technical accounting experience, including researching unusual transactions and writing memoranda.
• Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition and other current standards.
• CPA license strongly preferred (active or in progress).
• Experience mentoring staff/senior-level accountants.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and filing of all SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy) and oversee EDGAR tagging.
• Lead consolidation and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for ~25 entities across Americas, Europe, and Asia.
• Research and document technical accounting matters and draft supporting memoranda.
• Oversee accounting for executive and share-based compensation; prepare EPS calculations and disclosures.
• Lead earnings releases and investor deck materials, ensuring alignment with disclosures.
• Partner with FP&A, tax, internal audit, and operations to align external reporting with business performance.
• Serve as liaison with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audit; support DC&P and SOX compliance.
• Drive process improvements and systems initiatives within the reporting function.
• Supervise and mentor one direct report, with the opportunity to grow the team.
