Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead SEC reporting and accounting policy, ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance and robust external reporting. You will collaborate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and external auditors to drive accurate filings and strong controls across the organization.

The role emphasizes leadership, policy development, and process improvements, with broad responsibility for complex transactions and regulatory updates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or technical accounting experience.
• 3+ years of people management or leadership experience.
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and related reporting.
• Research, evaluate, and document accounting conclusions for complex transactions and maintain accounting policy framework.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance; strengthen internal controls and SOX.
• Drive process improvements in SEC reporting and financial reporting processes; mentor accounting professionals.
