Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Accounting Policy to lead external financial reporting, provide technical accounting guidance, and strengthen the company’s policy framework. This role partners with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Internal Audit, and external auditors to ensure U.S.

GAAP and SEC compliance while enhancing reporting processes. The position emphasizes team leadership, development, and driving strategic initiatives across the organization, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or technical accounting experience.
• 3+ years of people management or leadership experience.
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, earnings releases, and other SEC filings.
• Research, evaluate, and document accounting conclusions for complex and non-routine transactions.
• Maintain the company’s accounting policy framework and assess impact of new standards.
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, Investor Relations, and external auditors.
• Support SOX compliance activities and strengthen internal controls.
• Drive process improvements and strategic initiatives for SEC reporting and accounting policy.
