Job summary

IntelliPro seeks a Senior Manager SEC Reporting in Palo Alto with a hybrid schedule for a long-term contract. The role emphasizes SEC filings (10-Q/10-K), XBRL tagging, and SBC disclosures, reporting to finance leadership. You will own or support 10-K/10-Q processes, ASC 718, and cash flow preparation.

The position requires CPA and 10+ years in public company accounting, strong GAAP expertise, and experience with Workiva and NetSuite. A hybrid work model and competitive W2 pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience owning or supporting 10-K and/or 10-Q filings end to end.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Form 10-Q or 10-K filings and related financial statement work.
• Prepare or review consolidated cash flow statements (indirect method).
• Prepare SBC journal entries, reconciliations, and rollforward schedules.
• Support goodwill impairment analysis and related footnotes.
• Provide close support with journal entry review and reconciliations.
• Prepare PBC schedules and assist with audits.

Job Title: Senior Manager SEC Reporting

Location: Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Pay Range: $90/Hr. – $93/Hr. on W2

Scope of Work & Key Deliverables

• SEC Reporting – Assist with preparation and review of Form 10-Q or 10-K filings; draft or review financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A; support iXBRL/XBRL tagging and tie-out in Workiva. (High)
• Cash Flow Statement – Prepare or review the consolidated statement of cash flows (indirect method); resolve classification questions; prepare supplemental disclosure schedules. (High)
• Stock-Based Compensation – Prepare SBC journal entries, reconciliations, and rollforward schedules; review equity report data; draft ASC 718 footnote disclosures. (High)
• Goodwill & Intangibles – Support goodwill impairment analysis, intangible asset rollforwards, and related footnote disclosures under ASC 350/360. (Medium)
• Close Support – Support monthly/quarterly close tasks including journal entry review, account reconciliations, and flux analysis as needed. (Medium)
• Audit Support – Prepare PBC schedules, respond to auditor inquiries, and document key judgments and controls for quarterly reviews or annual audit. (As needed)

Required Qualifications

Credentials & Experience

• CPA
• Minimum 10 years of progressive, hands‑on accounting experience in a public company or supporting public company clients.
• Demonstrated experience owning or supporting 10-K and/or 10-Q filings end to end.

Technical Accounting Knowledge

• Deep command of U.S. GAAP, with hands‑on expertise in ASC 718 (Stock-Based Compensation), ASC 230 (Cash Flows), ASC 350/360 (Intangibles & Goodwill).
• Working knowledge of SEC rules (Regulation S-X and S-K) and PCAOB standards.

Systems

• Workiva: experience managing SEC filing workflows, tie‑outs, and XBRL/iXBRL tagging required.
• NetSuite: proficient in ledger review, journal entry management, and report extraction required.
• Equity reporting tools (e.g., Carta, E*TRADE Equity Edge, Morgan Stanley, or similar) for SBC reconciliation preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
