Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced technical accountant to join their team. In this role, you will partner closely with global accounting leadership and be responsible for drafting and delivering the organization’s external financial disclosures.

Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the monthly and quarterly financial close cycles by evaluating and interpreting actual financial performance.
2. Lead the compilation and interpretation of the company’s consolidated cash flow statements, drawing reports from domestic and global divisions.
3. Draft and verify disclosures and footnotes within financial statements, coordinating with regional finance teams and maintaining a reporting timeline.
4. Collaborate with departments such as Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and global accounting teams to ensure completeness and accuracy in public filings.
5. Serve as a liaison with external audit teams, supporting review and audit processes, and ensuring timely submission of documentation.
6. Participate in financial initiatives led by the treasury, including prospective capital market transactions involving debt or equity.
7. Assist in preparing materials for quarterly review with the board’s audit committee.
8. Research complex accounting topics and apply technical guidance to financial reporting matters.
9. Ensure compliance with external economic reporting obligations, including submissions to the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

Qualifications:

1. 6-8 years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience.
2. CPA certification is strongly preferred.
3. Strong understanding of SEC compliance and regulatory reporting frameworks.
4. Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
5. Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and team-oriented.
6. Familiarity with Workiva is a plus.
7. Experience with Oracle and OneStream systems is advantageous.
8. Proficiency with Excel and Google Workspace.
