Job summary

Veradermics, a dermatologist-founded late clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Senior Manager, Scientific Communications to lead publication strategy and medical writing across publications, medical information, and congress materials.

You will collaborate with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, and Commercial teams to translate complex data into clear, publication-ready communications that support the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline is required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in Scientific Communications or Medical Writing within biotech/pharma.
• Experience authoring peer‑reviewed manuscripts and congress materials.
• Knowledge of publication best practices (GPP, ICMJE) and editorial standards.
• Strong writing, editing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of publication strategy aligned with Medical Affairs and corporate goals.
• Serve as a primary scientific writer for manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and articles.
• Coordinate manuscript development and journal submission processes.
• Lead congress abstract/poster or oral presentation materials.
• Develop Medical Information materials and respond to inquiries with scientific balance.
