Job summary

Teva is seeking a Senior Manager, Real‑World Evidence (RWE) Statistics & Data Science to lead statistical design and analysis for observational research using real‑world data. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to plan evidence generation and translate complex data into actionable insights for regulatory, medical, market access, and business decisions.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Biostatistics or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in R, SAS, and/or Python.
• Experience working with large real‑world data (RWD) databases (claims, EHR, registries, surveys).
• Experience with observational study design and bias/confounding control.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the RWE Statistics lead for assigned programs and participate in internal meetings supporting evidence generation planning and development.
• Provide statistical input into the design and execution of observational studies, develop SAPs, protocols, and specifications.
• Partner with program teams to evaluate RWD sources and generate insights to inform decision‑making.
• Lead the statistical design, oversee execution, review and interpret results of internal RWD analyses.
• Apply advanced statistical methodologies and AI/ML‑based approaches.
• Clearly communicate statistical concepts and results to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Contribute to capability development and AI adoption initiatives.

Our Team, Your Impact

The Senior Manager, Real-World Evidence (RWE) Statistics & Data Science partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the development and lifecycle management of Teva's innovative products. The successful candidate will provide statistical leadership for the design and analysis of observational research utilizing real-world data (RWD), drive the application of advanced analytical approaches, and translate complex data into actionable insights that support regulatory, medical, market access, and business decisions.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

• Serve as the RWE Statistics lead for assigned programs and participate in relevant internal meetings supporting evidence generation planning and development.
• Provide statistical input into the design and execution of observational studies. Develop or review statistical analysis plans (SAPs), synopsis, study protocols, and analysis specifications.
• Partner with program teams to evaluate RWD sources, conduct exploratory analyses to identify fit‑for‑purpose data, and generate insights to inform decision‑making.
• Lead the statistical design, oversee the execution, review and interpret results of internal RWD analyses.
• Apply advanced statistical methodologies, and AI/ML‑based analytical approaches.
• Clearly communicate statistical concepts and results to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Your Skills and Experience

• PhD (with 2+ years of experience) or MS (with 4+ years of experience) in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in R, SAS, and/or Python.
• Demonstrated expertise working with large RWD databases, including claims, EHR, registries, and survey data.
• Experience with observational study design and analysis.
• Strong understanding of methods to control confounding and minimize bias in observational studies.

Also Good to Have

• Experience with advanced statistical methods, machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics applications using RWD.
• Experience interacting with external collaborators, vendors, payers, or regulators.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Salary Range

The annual starting salary for this position is between $133,600 – 167,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
