What You Will Do

We seek a strategic Insurance & Risk Manager to lead our insurance and risk management initiatives, ensuring the protection and resilience of our growing brand. This role involves developing risk strategies, securing insurance coverage, and fostering a risk-aware culture within Chomps.

Responsibilities

1. Risk Management & Mitigation
   • Support the Finance team with insurance and risk control strategies.
   • Coordinate claims related to property, recall, liability, cyber, etc.
   • Review supplier contracts for insurance provisions with Legal and Procurement.
   • Assess risks, analyze costs/benefits, and lead business continuity reviews.
   • Manage Certificates of Insurance (COI).
   • Monitor risk profile changes and ensure compliance with laws.
   • Educate on insurance and risk management.
2. Renewal and Insurance Management
   • Work with brokers to evaluate market trends and set strategies.
   • Manage risk data collection and policy validation.
   • Oversee relationships with brokers and carriers.
   • Procure and optimize insurance coverage.
3. Financial Support
   • Maintain records of total cost of risk (TCOR).
   • Align coverage and costs with leadership.
   • Process premium payments.

Who You Are

• 5+ years in risk management, insurance, or related fields with leadership impact.
• Experience with corporate insurance programs and renewals.
• Knowledge of global insurance markets and regulations.
• Ability to manage complex risk portfolios and develop mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with various insurance coverage lines.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 + 20% bonus
