Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Manager in Risk Advisory Services to deliver high‑value internal audit and risk management engagements for financial services clients in the U.S. This role leads teams through planning, fieldwork, and reporting, and enhances internal controls and operating procedures.

The position emphasizes client service, strategic relationships, and business development, with travel typical for engagements and supervision of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Six (6) or more years in banking, asset management, brokerage, or other financial services with internal audits/risks advisory.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a primary client contact for progress, challenges, and issues.
• Leads planning, fieldwork, and report composition of engagements.
• Communicates control gaps and improvements to client management.
• Develops risk-based audit plans and engagement programs.
• Manages engagement budgets and pricing changes as needed.
• Supervises RAS-FS Seniors and Associates; provides coaching.
