Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods seeks a Manager of Reverse Logistics & Operations to shape the strategic development of the company’s returns, damage and defective programs, and vendor claims. You will supervise the Returns team at the CSC and collaborate with multiple DSG departments to drive improvements across DCs and stores.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and negotiation skills, with extensive experience in supply chain and reverse logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5-7 years experience in Supply Chain.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Previous experience with reverse logistics preferred.
• Previous experience with contractual negotiations is preferred.
• Ability to drive projects & manage project teams.
• Process & procedure oriented.
• Superior organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop programs to drive a $2M budget of Misc. Income through salvage contracts and supplier coordination.
• Negotiate salvage opportunities and manage vendor claims within legal constraints.
• Review department organization to improve efficiency and shrink prevention through process review.
• Design salvage and returns programs to support supply chain objectives and analyze data for improvements.
• Lead Returns operations improvements with DSG partners and the vendor base to add value and savings.
