Job summary

BMC is seeking a Senior Manager, Professional Billing and Revenue Cycle to lead the professional billing operations across the organization from the Professional Billing department. This role directs Billing Managers and oversees third-party vendors to ensure timely charge capture, claims, and reimbursement.

Responsibilities include driving process improvements, monitoring KPIs, and collaborating with clinical operations to align with organizational revenue cycle goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field plus a minimum of 7 years of related professional experience, including management of professional billing functions within an academic medical center.

Responsibilities

• Directs Professional Billing Managers and oversees workforce management activities to set goals and metrics.
• Partners with third-party billing vendors to optimize billing operations and reimbursements.
• Leads process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
• Monitors revenue KPIs to ensure timely billing and issue resolution.
• Acts as liaison among physician practices, operations leaders, Revenue Cycle, and vendors.
• Identifies and implements workflow, technology, and optimization improvements.
