Job Description

You are a highly skilled Senior Manager of Technical Revenue who can focus on high-impact, complex, revenue-recognition projects that elevate our accounting and reporting capabilities. This role reports directly to the Director of Revenue and is responsible for all revenue close and technical accounting activities. As a Manager, you will have a strong mastery of current US GAAP and technical accounting pronouncements and must possess strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist in monthly revenue cycle controls including contract reviews, deal support, as well as detailed review of work performed by the team.
• Responsible for compliance with ASC606 requirements, including SSP setups & updates.
• Perform and assist in the performance of technical accounting research on all topics related to revenue and prepare/update memos as needed.
• Design and implement systems and processes to automate revenue recognition in alignment with revenue recognition policies and objectives.
• Perform close-related accounting reviews and analyses.
• Participate in close-related accounting reviews and analyses.
• Mentor India teams on various ongoing system/process/workpaper improvement initiatives.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including Partner Program/Operations, IT Business Applications, FP&A & Legal.

Qualifications

• Public Accounting Experience: Proven experience in public accounting, ideally with one of the Big 4 firms.
• Managerial non-audit experience & experience working with remote teams is required.
• Deep understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and standards & experience applying revenue recognition principles in complex SaaS or technology arrangements.
• Experience in implementing software tools such as Zuora Revenue, NetSuite ARM for revenue recognition automation.
• Advanced Analytical Skills: Proven ability to handle intricate technical analyses and create clear, actionable reports or position papers.
• Ability to adapt quickly and operate effectively in a rapidly scaling, dynamic environment.

Additional Information

The annual base salary range for this position is $170,000 — $244,375 USD.

Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.

Please note this is a hybrid role that requires an in-office presence 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).
