Job summary

J.Jill is seeking a Senior Manager, Retail Labor & Workload to design and manage labor strategies across the store network. You will own forecasting, budgeting, and scheduling practices to optimize store productivity and customer experience.

You will lead a Data Analyst, collaborate with Retail leadership, Finance and HR, and drive technology-enabled improvements in workforce management and reporting. This is a senior, strategic role within a Boston-based brand expanding nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in labor planning, workload management, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and budgeting skills with P&L awareness.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience across Retail, Finance, IT, HR.

Responsibilities

• Own store sales, workload and payroll forecasting to align with business goals.
• Develop and optimize labor models and scheduling practices to improve productivity.
• Forecast peak periods and major campaigns; monitor KPIs and adjust plans.
• Lead adoption of labor tools and processes; ensure training and consistency across sites.
• Build and manage the Retail OpEx budget in partnership with Finance and Leadership.
• Lead a Data Analyst and drive reporting to inform leadership decisions.
